As with the other seasons of the year, how you dress in the summer is equally important. The main factors to keep in mind, when dressing for the summer, is that clothing generally fall into two categories. They either act like a sun magnet, absorbing Sun Rays, and making you hot and sweaty, or they reflect the rays of the sun, thereby helping to make you feel cooler, and more comfortable.
Interestingly enough, even the type of shoes that you choose to wear, aid you in overall comfort. Many people prefer to wear sandals during the summer, because they allow for maximum air flow, and do wonders for keeping the feet cool. One popular style of shoe is called Gladiator, which is a design very much like sandals.
Actually, the Gladiator style shoe, is most often referred to as the ‘Gladiator Sandal’. These shoes are very typically designed in the common style of sandals, sometimes having more, or less straps than the average sandal. However, the Gladiator style of sandals, are often a lot more fashionable than common sandals, making them more versatile as far as casual, or dress wear.
There are many women who prefer to wear shoes with high heels, or shoes with relatively high tops. Most of these women would probably agree that wearing sandals, which are usually flat soled, with very low, or non existing tops, are pretty much out of the question.
These ladies would prefer to wear these types of shoes, rather than have the total comfort, and coolness of sandals in the summertime.
