Stop Toying Around and Blog

My experience with search engine marketing started early in the business process. I knew that SEO was a major part of business online, and I wanted to get things straight from the beginning. I thought that as long as I had a website in place, they would be able to work with me to get it to the top of the search engines, but it turned out that “starting at the beginning” implied a starting point much earlier than I realized. The search engine marketing company I was working with asked me to change up a lot of content as well as the navigational structure. It was a bit of a pain, because I had already gone through another design firm to build the site in the first place. But I decided to work with the SEO company and make the changes they requested. This turned out to be a good thing, because it made it easier to do everything else that followed.Once they felt like my website was above par, they started working on developing natural search engine results. However, they said that this could take some time because I was after some really competitive keywords, so we decided to do some PPC as well. Luckily, this company had a lot of experience with Pay Per Click management. They also began training me on social media marketing. While they were quick to offer all the help I needed, they were also quick to point out that no one really knows my business as well as I do, and if I wanted to really contribute to the community, there just some things I was going to have to do for myself.
