Stop Toying Around and Blog

There are many reasons people decide to compost. Some people want to jump on the bandwagon for the Green Movement.  Others just want to do the right thing and us what they have to the greatest extent.  It doesn’t really matter what kind of movement is all the rage.  I think that’s where most people fall when it comes to Organic Gardening Compost.

Organic Gardening Compost was  what most people would create with leftovers from the garden not so many years ago.  People got out of the habit and kids really didn’t know what it was if they hadn’t been around it. Once the final harvest of the year was  picked, left over plants would be put in a pile along with fishing worms that didn’t quite make it for bait.  Then scraps from the dinner table would be added from time to time and the whole thing would be turned with a  pitch fork. For a while , it looked like a mess but it soon turned into rich soil.  We would do this year after year.  Along with great soil for the garden, those wimpy fishing worms were now plentiful and took very little effort to dig up.  That was a nice little secret.

Another benefit of Organic Gardening Compost was the increased yields on lettuce, radishes, cucumbers, carrots and peppers. The tomatoes really appreciated the soil that was so rich in nutrients. It has always amazed me that just a little bit of recycling can benefit in so many ways. Rich soil, high yields and great fishing bait  are the secrets of organic gardening compost.
