Compassion and Empathy is Key to Chriropractic Marketing & Advertising
Sunday, March 14th, 2010Listening with a compassionate ear to your patients is important as you well know. They want to know that they are seeing a chiropractor that understands what they are going through, not just a doctor who labels them as just another patient. Empathy will always build a good doctor/patient relationship and creates a common bond. When that happens you begin to build trust. Another way to build trust is to encourage interaction from your patients, show them that their participation in their care is important too. One example of patient participation is to allow your patients to give feedback. It helps build a partnership between you and your patient. This can be in the form of a written testimonial or by leaving comments on your website or blog. I would hope by now that all chiropractors are using current technology for their chiropractic marketing. No longer should you limit your chiropractic advertising to newsprint only. Many opportunities abound in the virtual world and since many people depend on their computer to find services that fit their needs, then I would hope that all chiropractors are using this method of communication as an effective chiropractic marketing tool and it’s a great way to build relationships with your community. Everyone struggles with time for themselves these days, so making their chiropractic care a priority is key. When you as their doctor invest a few minutes of your time by listening during an appointment, you are giving more than just an adjustment you’re giving a part of you.
